In 6 months – once again John Fischer will be organizing an American Firefighter and Police Pipes and Drums Band, made up of pipers and drummers from all over the United States. We will be traveling to Belgium, Luxembourg, and France – to commemorate and pay homage to our WW2 veterans of the greatest generation, for the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

We need 1,503 signed & verified candidate petitions from the residents of Palm Beach County Commission District 5. With 1,635 petitions we save a steep $8,000 filing fee.
Your signature does not imply an endorsement of my candidacy. Instead, it only helps me qualify to run. Your support in this manner will save my campaign $8,000. I would appreciate your help.

INSTRUCTIONS: How to Get and Submit Candidate Petitions
We have made it easy for you to take part. Here are different ways to get and submit candidate petitions. I kindly request your help in signing a candidate petition for me.
Option 1: Download, Print, and Mail to:
- Visit our campaign website at JohnForDistrict5.com and click on the “How Can I Help?” section. Inside the #1 Petitions (big red box), click the “Download a Candidate Petition” button
- or Click here.
- Download and print the petition.
- Fill out all the highlighted yellow areas of the petition, print legibly, providing accurate and complete information.
- Be sure to add your signature and date the document.
- Mail the petition to the address provided below.

Yet – Another Lyons Rd. Car Crash
Yet – Another crash on Lyons Rd., the S-turn between the communities of Escondido and Timbers of Boca Raton. This one happened last night (Oct. 8th.) at 10:00 PM. Vehicle plummets through hedges, mows down wooden fence, and hits a tree. If the tree wasn’t there, it would have hit the single family home.
Residents continue to call for a traffic light at the intersection, after decades of similar crashes and deaths.

This trip was commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the official ending of World War I. Where I, John Fischer along with Firefighters from around the world made memorial stops in Paris, France, United Kingdom, Brussels, Washington DC, and Belgium.
